A lifetime writer, Katrina is a barefoot produce farmer turned Christian investigative journalist, cardiac nurse, children’s author, and raised bed urban gardener.
She has picked sweet corn in dark and rainy Wisconsin fields, slept in a convent in the bluffs beside the Mediterranean Sea, and touched a beating human heart in Elkhart, Indiana.
Katrina’s 18 books include Blue Christmas, From the White House to the Amish, Kidnapped in Haiti and the Brady Street Adventure series for middle grade.
She grew up in Stratford, Wisconsin with two brothers and three sisters, all of whom developed a love for words through the coaching and example of their parents.
Katrina lives in Elkhart, Indiana, with her husband and daughter where they seek to join God’s work with their small urban Anabaptist church.
