Philippians 4:6-7

6“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Anxiety is fear. Fear is no longer a part of who we are. We are new creations filled with the Holy Spirit and equipped with a Spirit of love, power, and the mind of Christ. Fear is on the outside trying desperately to make us believe it is still a part of who we are. Anxiety is a lie that is working to distract us from the will of Almighty God.

As soon as we feel anxiousness or fear we can be sure that it is a lie and we can start unwinding those lies by praising the Father for His finished work in us and the truth that we are new creations and fear is no longer a part of who we are. Praising Father for His miraculous work chases fear and anxiety away and opens the door for the peace of God, that passes all understanding, to guard our hearts and our minds.

Praising our Father while feeling anxious builds fortifications that the enemy cannot overcome. Expecting Father’s sure delivery before it manifests kills the poisonous darts of the cut-off withering branch and his feeble attempts to thwart our God-given destinies.

I hear a lot of my brothers and sisters praying and begging Father for protection usually because they are afraid.

Supplication and requests in the new creation are supposed to be filled with confidence and assurance that Father will work all things for our good. False humility brings faulty requests before our Father’s throne. Anxiety brings faithless, self-centered supplications filled with false humility and manifests zero results for the kingdom of heaven.

Praising the Father before we see His provision manifest is great faith. Praising Father before we get completely free from feeling afraid or anxious causes lies to lose their grip on our minds and fortifies the guard around our lives.

After practicing praise and adoration for some time and praising Father in storms we will soon see how powerful Father has truly made us in Christ and we will see anxiety less and less prominent in our lives. Let’s force ourselves to ignore facts and choose to trust no matter what comes or how we feel. Hallelujah!

Father, I am exceedingly grateful for Your grace mercy, and salvation. You always lead me through the shadow of death and into peaceful pastures filled with abundance. I know that anxiety fear and worry are no longer a part of who I am. I appreciate Your amazing destiny for me.

I truly am blessed and powerful and I have the mind of Christ. I know that I will overcome everything that the slimy lying enemy throws at me and I recognize anxiety as one of his tactics. I will praise my way out of every storm knowing that You have provided a way for me ahead of time.

I am so grateful for Your brilliant plan to expand Your kingdom by making us like Jesus. I will examine my thoughts to take captive thoughts contrary to Your Word and execute them judiciously with Your excellent truth. I am thankful beyond measure. I love You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
