Gerald Hall has had an extraordinarily diverse background. A lifelong science fan, Gerald is a graduate from the North Carolina State University’s School of Engineering.
After graduation, Gerald served in uniform as part of the Intelligence Community for more than thirty years, deploying in support of Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Gerald has employed his technical knowledge, his military experience, his love of history and even his life as the spouse of a Methodist Minister to create unique tales of alternate histories and possible futures.
At the same time, he enjoys weaving in characters of faith who draw strength from their walk with the Lord and are guided through tumultuous times by that faith. Gerald sees speculative fiction stories not as a repudiation of Christian faith as some believe, but instead as an opportunity to exult that faith in situations that someday we or our descendants might find ourselves in.
