From the moment I took my plastic book about elephants in the bathtub as a baby, I’ve loved books, so it made sense that I majored in English. I enjoyed teaching high school English and History, especially when a student would light up after reading a great work of fiction.
I taught a Bible Study for a large women’s ministry of several hundred and traveled extensively as a conference speaker. I’ve done missionary work, so writing about the experiences of real-life missionaries fascinates and inspires me.
I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico with my amazing husband Nathan and two goldendoodles. I am an interior decorator, and Nathan and I remodel homes and run Airbnbs. My daughters and their families live in California and I visit every chance I get.
Throughout my life I’ve enjoyed the encouragements found in the Bible, the education found in history biographies, and the entertainment found in the compelling characters of the great British Classics. I have chosen to combine my love of all three in my hope to create stories that not only encourage, and educate, but also entertain.
