R. L. Solberg is an author, professor, and the founder and president of The Biblical Roots Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry committed to grounding believers in Scripture, defending historical Christianity, and exposing theological error through faithful Bible teaching and apologetics (thebiblicalroots.org).

Residing in Nashville, TN with his wife of over 33 years, Solberg is also an adjunct professor of theology at Williamson College. He has pursued theology, apologetics, and philosophy both formally and informally for more than twenty years. Solberg earned his Master of Theological Studies at Williamson College, and studied Biblical Hebrew remotely at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Bible Exposition at Liberty University.

An accomplished communicator, Solberg writes thoughtfully on the Old Testament roots of the Christian faith, the New Covenant, and the Gospel. He is best known for his book Torahism: Are Christians Required to Keep the Law of Moses? and apologetic Bible studies like The Law, The Christ, The Promise, along with teaching resources via his blog, podcast, and speaking events. His speaking ministry combines scholarly insight with accessibility—making complex theological issues understandable and practical for everyday believers .
