Dr. Karockas “Doc Rock” Watkins is, above all, a servant leader committed to inspiring growth, purpose, and excellence in others. He serves as CEO of Ability Plus, Inc., a nonprofit supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through a team of over 400 professionals. He is also the CEO of Vision Excellence Company, a leadership and professional development consultancy providing keynotes, executive coaching, and transformational training experiences. As a certified Executive and Leadership Coach, “Train-the-Trainer” professional through TalentSmart, and a global speaker, Dr. Watkins has led over 250 leadership conferences and crusades across more than 25 countries.

An accomplished author, he has published God-A-Tude, No Bad Days, and Attitude Determines Altitude, and co-authored The ABC’s of INFLUENCE and The Power & Purpose of Mentorship. He holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, a Master of Theology, two Doctorate Degrees in Theology and Philosophy, and a Graduate Certificate in Business Excellence from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Watkins is a recipient of the prestigious 2024 Russell G. Brown Executive Leadership Award and serves on numerous regional boards, including the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce and Alabama A&M University. He and his wife of 32 years, Dr. Audra Watkins, are proud parents and community builders. As Senior Pastor of Emmanuel The Connection Church, Dr. Watkins continues to empower others to unlock their potential and lead values-driven lives.
