My grandfather, CM Butler, was a minister in Savannah for over 50 years and also had a radio broadcast. His ancestors settled in this area during the 1700s, so I have a long line of history in my hometown. I’ve always loved history, and when I decided to write a book, I knew I wanted it to incorporate the many fascinating stories I’d read about and been told by my parents, grandparents, and many others.
So, in 2020, I published my first book, The Healing Rose of Savannah. In 2021, I published the sequel, The Whispering Shadows of Savannah. Both books are historical fiction/mystery/romance and are inspired by true stories.
In the same year of 2021, I decided I wanted to try writing modern day cozy mysteries, and the plot for Secrets from the Past was born. I have written 4 books in that series so far, as well as 3 books in another cozy mystery series.
Both series are based in fictional towns near Savannah, and over the last 4 years, I have had so much fun creating a wide variety of interesting, quirky, and mysterious characters. All of my books are clean, and according to my reviewers, they will keep you on the edge of your seats!
