Joan E. Murray received Jesus as her Savior at the age of twelve. She is a passionate and inspiring international Bible teacher, speaker, author, and entrepreneur, who is dedicated to helping people step into their God-given destinies. As the founder and CEO of Joan Murray Ministries, Seeds of Hope Worldwide Missions, and JEMM Conferences, she has spent over two decades transforming lives through the power of biblical truth. Her global ministry reaches churches, women’s groups, and conferences, where she empowers people to see themselves as masterpieces created for God’s purpose.
With 28 impactful books to her name, Joan’s mission is to teach biblical truths that are life-transforming so people can attain victory in every area of life. Her teachings ignite faith, bring hope and healing, and open doors to building a deeper connection with God.
Her love for the Lord and her study of the Word has equipped her to teach, train, counsel, and pray for those in need. Her gift of intercession has deepened her love for people, giving her a heart of compassion and a passion to see them whole, healed, and set free by the power of God.
After receiving her calling to launch Joan Murray Ministries, Joan focused on becoming the “hands and feet of Jesus” through work in local and international missions. She is dedicated to changing the lives of men, women, and children. Joan ministers “life lessons” to her audiences by teaching them that God has a plan and purpose for every life.
The Seeds of Hope Worldwide Missions (SOH) ministry is a non-profit, community-driven initiative dedicated to uplifting those in need. The ministry provides nutritious hot meals, groceries, and clothing to Veterans and underserved communities. The ministry sponsors numerous back-to-school events to encourage and support children’s education. The ministry has focused its outreach efforts on Central America, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean Islands.
SOH serves meals to the hungry and distributes food and clothing to those in need across underserved communities, orphanages, hospitals, and shelters. The organization also provides back-to-school supplies to families facing financial hardship. Hope is shared with individuals from all walks of life, and support is extended to teenage girls and boys living in halfway homes. Joan currently resides in Houston, Texas.
