John Vandeventer is originally from Plano, Texas. He is a sixteen-year veteran of the United States Air Force. His lifelong love of military aviation history has always made him an avid reader. His other hobbies include target shooting and, more recently, writing has become an enjoyable pastime for him. The author’s first novel was first published in 2017. This was a big year for John; he also gave his life to Christ, got baptized, and became a Christian. John started adding a Christian worldview to his books. John decided to become a purely Christian novelist. Naphal, which is his 7th novel, is also his first effort in the Christian Fiction genre. In 2018, John and his wife Monica moved to the small community of Honobia Oklahoma, secluded deep in the Kiamichi Mountains, where he continues to write.
