Lucy Harris is a retired high school teacher of literature and writing. She has lived in the forest by a little creek out in the mountains of North Georgia for many decades.
Her home is twenty miles from the nearest small town. Her love of nature, universal beauty and humanity are the source of her inner contemplations which free her spirit and open her heart and soul to the whisperings of life’s holiness.
Lucy feels these soft and subtle insights are messages to be shared in common language and verse in the hope that through reading her poetic vignettes, readers may be encouraged by the simple joy of living and the blessings of inner freedom in the same way a butterfly is inspired by the wind and the sun to write across the sky.
