Mitch Bakker is the founder and owner of IDA Design, an award-winning, nationally recognized industrial design firm which also curates the global trend publication, Lumen. His most recent venture was launching a restaurant, StrEATs Taco Kitchen, from scratch—where he finds connection to his community through tacos. International volunteer work has exposed him to global issues, deepening his commitment to service. He volunteers in prisons, teaching and encouraging incarcerated men with the message of hope and redemption. His first book, Resolve, has shown him the power of stories to impact lives. Resolve has been distributed to thousands of incarcerated men throughout the United States. He has five children and resides in Holland, Michigan, with his wife Christine.
